But this isn't just any ordinary drift competition. The Retro Cup is a celebration of drift culture and retro automotive excellence. We've carefully curated the event to embrace the spirit of classic drifting, with strict criteria for entry ensuring that only the purest retro rides grace the track. From meticulously preserved classics to modified masterpieces, every car tells a story of passion and dedication.

The Drift Kings Retro Cup is exclusively open to classic drift cars produced before 1995, with a maximum tire width of 205. Only street tires are allowed; semi-slick tires are prohibited to maintain the event's spirit and ensure a level playing field. Participants are encouraged to preserve their vehicles' original specifications, favoring classic components and technology. Any modifications must align with the event's spirit and pass approval by the technical inspection team.

Cars meeting all these requirements will be admitted to the “Classics” category. To accommodate all retro fans, an "Outlaw" category is designated for cars not meeting the pure "classic" criterias but still embracing the retro spirit.

All vehicles must adhere to Retro Cup safety standards outlined in the Drift Kings rules E section, a lighter version based on Appendix K (FIA Historic Competitions)
